Geometry:
Today we learned about the volume of a cylinder and a prism, and how the formula for both would be: Volume = (area of base) * (height of figure).  We then went over practice problems with volume.  After that, we talked about lateral area of a pyramid and found that the general formula would be: Lateral Area = 1/2*(Perimeter of base)*(slant height).

Homework:
Complete the four-problem worksheet given at the end of class.  (There is an assignment there that will be assigned tomorrow for you to complete, so if you can do those tonight.  Regardless, they will be due Friday.)

Retake policy:
Those who received a C OVERALL on their test need to come talk with me about their grade either today, tomorrow or Friday.  Those who want to retake the exam need to also come speak to me during those days and state a time that they would like to come in and take the exam.
