Geometry:
Today in class we first talked about how to compare the sides of two triangles based on certain angle measures and we came up with the idea that: When two sides of a triangle are congruent to two sides of another triangle, then the larger included angle is opposite the longer third side. We also observed the converse statement, that: When two sides of a triangle are congruent to two sides of another triangle, then the longer third side is opposite the larger included angle. This is what we called the Hinge Theorem.
We then talked about Pythagorean Triples and discussed what triangle can be made (either acute, obtuse or right) based on the side lengths of a triangle.
