Geometry:
We discussed in class about what a polygon was, as well as certain properties it has.  We also talked about the difference between convex and concave polygons.  We then ended with an activity where you had to name a polygon with a certain number of sides, find the amount of diagonals that can be made from one vertex and find the amount of triangles that is created by the diagonals.  After, you are to find the measure for the sum of the interior angles based on the number of sides for any polygon.  We then discussed at the end of class how to find the measure of one interior angle of a polygon with a certain number of sides, as well as one exterior angle.

Homework: Worksheet regarding the activity we completed today in class.

Pre-Calculus:
We discussed in class how to find all of the angle measures that would be a solution for x when sin(x) = 1/2.  This then led to us talking about how to write every value of x that satisfies this equation.  After this, we then worked on how to solve trigonometric equations and find all values for x, writing in that notation we described, or finding values for x on the interval [0, 2pi].

Homework:  assignment labelled Speer - 7.3 that will be due Friday, Feb. 19th.
